Published every year between April and June.

BMC lists the days when the tide goes above 4.5 metres (24 such days in 2026, the highest 4.89 m on 16 July). Stay off the shore from two hours before to two hours after each listed time. We add the 2027 list here when it’s out.

    Monsoon fishing ban

Tue, 1 Jun to Sat, 31 Jul. Sea up to 12 nautical miles

1 June to 31 July every year (the standard rule).

Mechanised and motorised boats stay ashore, so fresh sea fish is scarce and pricier. In 2026 the state kept mechanised boats out of the 12-mile zone until 15 August; check whether that applies again in 2027.
